The Council sees a need for online learning opportunities. We are developing online academies, where you can learn and receive certificates on a variety of topics.
There is a Member Academy and a Non-Member Academy.
Contact Valerie, our Programs Director, for your invitation to join the appropriate Academy: vann@wccc.org or (916) 599-8020 (Pacific Time)
Joining the academy is free.
Once you belong to an Academy, check its Catalog of Courses to see what is currently available in that Academy. (We will add and remove courses — so check regularly.)
- FREE Courses can be taken or assigned quickly. Click the LEARN MORE button to see the Course Description and any other details.
- FEE Courses – click the LEARN MORE button to see the payment link and Course Description. When you pay for the course, you are e-mailed a receipt, and we are notified by e-mail,
- We will assign you to the paid course in your Academy within 48 hours and you will have 45 days to go into your Academy and complete the course.
- If you wish to pay for and assign your team members to fee courses, contact Valerie to make arrangements.
There are several course topic series. It is suggested, but not required, that you take the courses in the series in order.
Member Academy offers:
- Professional development courses at discounted Member rates
- Numerous free courses as a benefit of membership
- Completion Certificates
Non-Member Academy offers:
- Professional development courses at non-member rates
- Some free courses
- Completion Certificates
We will change and expand online course offerings over time, so check regularly for updates in the Course of Study for your Academy.
We welcome topic and presenter requests or suggestions.
*Only registered/assigned attendees may receive Certificates.
