Cost Control 101 “Demystifying the Process”

June 23, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am PDT

Managing capital program costs can be complex.  Many times, overly complicated systems are implemented which are not sustainable.

Successful cost control uses simple, but integrated, processes with a disciplined and uniform approach.

This webinar series walks participants step by step through a tried and tested cost management system, applicable to many program types.  This system works for any brand of project management software.  It will improve your cost knowledge and allow you and your organization to function with a robust, reliable, and repeatable process for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Cost Control 101 Participants will learn:

  • Cost Definitions & Nomenclature
  • Cost Rules
  • How to understand and setup a cost worksheet
  • How to create a simple budget structure
  • How to categorize your costs
  • Mechanics of budget management
