Making Trusted Leadership Work For You

August 21 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am PDT

According to Forbes, a trusted organization outperforms its peers by 400%. There is no skill more important today, for all leaders, than to learn how to build trust.

Most leaders believe they are good at their job. But in 2023, research shows that only 21% of employees trust their leaders. This is not good news for most organizations. Trust is critical to performance. In construction, trust is essential, or you, as an owner, are going to waste time, energy, and money, for less than stellar projects.

Some construction owners are building more today with fewer resources and less frustration. Projects built on a foundation of trust are better quality, safer, faster, cheaper, and more fun.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • How to build trust, so you can have a high-trust organization with high-trust project teams. Trust is an essential skill. which can be learned by any leader.
  • How to develop your own Trust Map to visualize the level of trust you have with your people.
  • To understand the Trusted Leader Continuum and what happens at each end of the continuum.
  • The 2-Step Partnering Approach – it allows you to build trust as the leader.
  • How your Mindset sets the stage for your results. (Trust is a mindset.)
  • Steps to training your brain so you can develop new high-trust skills.

Presenter: Sue Dyer is the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The Trusted Leader. Founder of International Partnering Institute, she created the IPI Project Leader Certification training and designation.  Over the past four decades, Sue has had the privilege of learning from over 4,000 construction teams, on projects valued at over $180 billion, what it takes to create high-trust high-performing teams.  Known as the “Godmother of Partnering,” Sue fostered the development of the Collaborative Partnering model that is used across the industry to help project teams create and steer their projects toward success. In Sue’s partnering experiences, one thing that stood out was how often the project leaders didn’t know how to create a high-trust team.  So, Sue created the IPI Project Leader Certification, which uses proven models to teach project leaders how to lead better and create high-trust, high-performing teams.
